In July, T12 technology will be phased out by the U.S. Department of Energy. If you have old T12 fluorescent lighting, one of the most cost-effective energy projects you can do is to replace them with more efficient T8s or T5s. Once T12's are phased out, DP&L will no longer be able to offer T12 rebates.

For a limited time, we have increased all of our T12 rebates by 50%. So, if you still have T12 lamps and ballasts, purchase your lighting retrofit before July 14, 2012, with the help of DP&L rebates.

Steps to get your rebate in time:

  1. Apply for your rebate (before July 14)
  2. Purchase your lighting retrofit (before July 14)
  3. Install replacement lights (can be installed after July 14)
