Let us help you easily connect, disconnect or transfer your electric service.

How it Works

  • Call DP&L’s business solutions center at 800-253-5801 Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Please place your request at least three (3) business days in advance of your requested service change date.

What You’ll Need

We will need the following information to process your request:

  • Your Federal Tax ID number
  • Your DP&L account number (for disconnect and transfer requests)
  • Business location and contact information
  • Date(s) to change service

A refundable security deposit may be required depending on your DP&L payment history, or if you have never had DP&L service. The deposit is usually a little more than the average monthly bill. Learn More ›
In general, non-residential customer deposits are refunded when you maintain a good payment history for 24 months. The full deposit amount plus interest will be credited to your account. Learn More ›
