How it Works

Instant Rebates from DP&L Marketplace

  • Browse and shop for ENERGY STAR® smart thermostats on the DP&L Marketplace and have it mailed to your home with no shipping costs and get an instant $50 rebate.

Retail Rebates

  • Purchase your qualifying smart thermostat from any retail outlet and apply for a $50 rebate online. Or, complete and submit this PDF application. DP&L will mail your rebate check to your home.
  • Look for in-store instant rebates available at local Lowes and Home Depot stores.

Combine Heating & Cooling Rebates

  • Pair the installation of your new heating and cooling system with a smart thermostat and get a rebate on both.
  • To receive a rebate through the Heating and Cooling Rebates program, new equipment - including thermostats - must be purchased from a participating contractor.

Who Qualifies

  • DP&L residential customers
  • DP&L business customers can receive a rebate through the Rapid Rebate® program
  • Smart thermostats must be ENERGY STAR certified
  • Smart thermostats must be purchased between January 1 and December 31, 2019
  • Limit one (1) smart thermostat rebate per residential electric customer account
